The Whitest Beach in the World

….is Hyams Beach, New South Wales, Australia, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Hyams Beach, with its blinding white sand, is a small village roughly 3 hours drive from Sydney, on the southern shores of Jervis Bay.  The sand has fine particles of quartz, which gives it a beautiful shimmering luster.

Amazing, eh?  It looks like someone dumped a whole lotta flour, or talc.  I wonder if it’s as soft.
