Navagio Beach, Greece

Beautiful Navagio Beach, Greece

This spectacular beach, also known as Shipwreck Cove, is located on the island of Zakynthos. The sand is so white and the water is so clear that the boats which anchor there look like they’re floating on air.  The shipwreck, known as Panagiotis, was allegedly a smuggler ship that foundered in 1983.

Their are boats that ferry passengers there from Porto Vromi to the South, or from Saint Nikolas in Volimes to the Northeast.  Photos are courtesy of Beautiful Places to Visit.
