If French Polynesia is too expensive, there’s a wonderful alternative.
It’s Te Manava Luxury Villa and Spa on Rarotonga, an island which is part of the archipelago of land in the South Pacific known as the Cook Islands. The Cook Islands are located between French Polynesia and American Samoa. Think New Zealand, then go North-East.
Te Manava Luxury Villa and Spa is a special breed of resort. They boast self-contained single- or multi bedroom villas, each with a kitchen area and private swimming pool (which are more like big jacuzzis, but who cares). How cool is that?
Amenities include a fridge, microwave, toaster, stove-top cooker and dishwasher. There’s even a washing machine for your personal use. For a $75 fee, they will take your grocery list and shop for you.
Here are some guest photos posted on Trip Advisor:
The cost of a one-bedroom, beach-front villa in February for one is $572 per night. Everything is a la carte, so pack soap, shampoo, lotion–even towels and linen. If you want fresh ones, they charge you $35 dollars for one person.
Think of it like going to the cottage, only in the South Pacific.
